The online “chatta champion” training acts as a guide for practitioners to lead training sessions for colleagues.
The training is presented as a series of videos, followed up by topics for discussion and key messages. The training can be completed in one session or over a series of sessions. 2 hours training time is recommended, which includes full training on the chatta process, the resources, the website, the unique chatta app and the online features of chatta.
Participants should follow the numbered sequence of sections and activities. The slides, links, videos and text combine to form a full training activity, with brief interactive and feedback activities to complete at the end of each section.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”DESCRIPTION” tab_id=”1480451907361-2b892fc9-3417″][vc_column_text]
The training focuses on the development of early spoken communication, the importance of storytelling and oral narrative, the theory and processes which form chatta’s unique teaching approach and the ways chatta can support progress for all children.
There are also sections featuring the chatta app ‘how to’ video guides and looks more closely at the features and functions of the chatta app, which provides the tools necessary to fully implement chatta in any early years setting.
The training concludes with an action-planning task and guides participants towards the necessary next steps to building a long-term and constructive relationship with the chatta support team.
